money , money , money
I know its crass to talk of money but I was paid today. Not a huge amount by most peoples standards but its my first bit of money thats my own, that I earned. It has never worried me that I was not earning as we adopt a joint finances approach but hell when I looked at my account this morning and it was lying there all shiny and mine I felt really proud and relieved. Strange isn't it.

There is nothing more liberating than earning your own money. Have fun spending it. As Nana used to say "money is for the use of". Save a bit and spend a bit. Love Mum xxx

Not strange - it's always good to earn something for yourself. And at least now, when you see a nice pair of shoes, you don't have to beg to own them (or feel guilty!). Well done xxx
