back in cyberworld

As many of you may have noticed by purple Ronnies comment on my last post I dissapeared for a few days into...who knows where.

Anyhoo i am back now. The weekend was a bank holiday one here and my aunt and uncle from Holland came to stay. I say stay but actually they parked their camper van outside our house and lived in there only eating inside. They do this all over europe stopping and starting and touring. Apparently all over the place you find these camper van stops with facilities and the ability to park up for a night or 2. Its like a whole world going on without my knowledge!

We took them around greenwich on Sunday to see the observarory and walk around greenwich itself. had some tea and sandwiches in the park which were lovely. Lily was great with them not much crying. she is being very entertaining at the minute with her clapping and noises. she is just so animated and finds everything soooo funny and sooooo interesting. Last night in the hour it took me to get her down (yes people, an hour!) she spent 10 minutes studying her wiggly thumb. ( very cute but very exasperating when its bedtime)

On monday lily and her daddy went shoppig at bluewater shopping centre leaving me to have a bath and read my book in bed. I am feeling very weary as Lily has developed some sleeping problems and then the dreaded teething began and we were up a few times in the night. I think it all caught up with me as yesterday I developed wht must have been the beginnings of a migraine which let me tell you is no fun with a baby who has discovered she can screech!

I am feeling better now and more rested so lets hope the teething eases up and the little thing gets a tooth. shes still a gummy bear.

On the crawling front she is still just rocking and turning on her bum but is happy doing that for now. I will include a few photos of her attempts.

I am off to weight watchers in a couple of hours. I am dreading it as my weeknd was awful. I found savanahs in sainsburys and was so excited bought 2 and proceeded to drink them. then all this dutch stuff came out. they do this almond sort of flat cakes called gevuulde koek. its my fav and sooo difficult not to have. i was quite good but did go over my points more than once so i dont hold much hope. I am back on the wagon plodding away again.

Not long now until my mummy and my birthday arrive. only 8 more sleeps now!!!! I am about to write an email to all inviting them to a picnic but its such terrible weather here I am hoping it all changes and we can have our lovely weather back.
