lovely Lily is 8 months

Well the 13th of the month has rolled around again which signals that Lily is another month older. 3 and 13 are Lily's daddy's special numbers, and now even more special as we have our little girl who pushed ( or was that me?) to be born on the 13th and just made it!

As I sit here Lily is sitting on the floor next to me surrounded by her favorite toys. Just yesterday I was talking to my mum telling her that Pia's little boy , Adam , who is 2 and a bit weeks younger than Lily is crawling and pulling up on things, and Lily is just sitting there playing still. I know all babies do things in their own time . I tell others that, but ,as is my life the advice does not extend to me.

Once again a mother always has the answers for you. she reckons that us girls know that we will have to work hard the rest of our lives and thus when we are babies we are content to have things brought to us and relax for a while longer.

However since I have had these concerns Lily is on her hands and knees rocking and has become more mobile. In one day! she can reach out soooo far for her toys as well.
So happy 8 months Lily Luby!!

I was just reading everyone elses blogs and Ronnie had a lovely quote in hers. Funnily enough found a quote yesterday which I thought was so true.

" If you don't stand for something, you will fall for something"

so I will leave you with that

Happy 8 Months Little Darling! That quote is sooo true I like it a lot!
As I said to you earlier, she will do things in her own time and when she is good and ready - everyone marches to the beat of their own drum....!

Happy 8 months Lily!

I can't believe how much they change and grow - this blog is fantastic - Lily is only 8 months old and she already has a load of loyal fans checking out her website!!
I am trying to get my friend to do one of her little boy so we can see the changes in him.

I like what your mum said - about us girls resting as babies as we have to work so hard the rest of our lives - how true.. :)

Have a lovely weekend :)
