is it a leo thing?

This is what my daughter does with everything from her toys to her crayons to my hair clips and lipsticks. She places everything in rows. neat rows. kind of little groups. sometimes even colour coded. All of you who know me know that this is not from me. This little scene greeted me when I came in from the kitchen after washing the dishes (ugh). I don't really know whether to be amused or slightly scared. anyone else know of this neat affliction?
any help will be appreciated :)

hee hee!! Adam does the same thing!! He'll line up ANYTHING. At Caroline's place last year he started lining up her chairs...

With him, it's mainly his cars that must be lined up. And don't mess with the order. Because there IS AN ORDER - ever if you can't figure out what it is!!

There was a stage were that was ALL he ever did. Arrange, arrange and re-arrange!

She loves all her bit and likes to see them all spread out, I don't think you need to be alarmed. I used to do that when i was little, ask Kristian maybe he did too as Michele is a perfectionist too. Mum xxx

Hi Wendy -
Compared to other possibilities, I would count my lucky stars!

But seriously, as long as she is comfortable in more chaotic environments (someone else's messy home, noisy play groups - that sort of thing) and she's able to tolerate you and her Dad playing, touching and putting away her orderly items, I wouldn't worry.

Who knows what future career she is preparing for?
The mise en place of a great chef...
The tools of a scientist or surgeon...
The palette, brushes and paints of an artist...
;o)

Never seen anything like Lily's arranging. Dylan might align his cars but nothing like this.I think its better as my lot are usually picking up containers and then just emptying them upside down on the floor then walking away to play with something else.

Ummm.... DEFINITELY A LEO THING!!! Aunty Lailaa can relate to this. We Leos like to be the rulers of our kingdoms (read stuff)... Do not be alarmed, as I don't think I turned out too badly ;) ... Hugs, xx

Hi Wendy - I can only HOPE that my two boys develop some sense of order because all they create at the moment is chaos - seriously, EVERYTHING has to be pulled out, dumped on the floor and then tripped over!!! Relish and develop Lily's organisational skills :) - Kerrith

OK, while Jake doesn't do this, I think it's a very healthy sign that your child is being imaginative! And it's a good thing that she's different to you!!
