Finally the winter has left us and summer weather is all around. Monday was a holiday here and the most glorious day. Everyone who had been hibernating came out to play and our heath was packed with hundreds of people picnicing or just having drinks.
I shared a jug of pimms and lemonade with a friend of mine who was in London for the day and it left my spirits soaring. Its amazing what a bit of sunshine can do for one.
Yesterday was also sunny and my brothers ex girlfriend and good friend of ours came to visit after arriving in London 3 days earlier. Lily loves Leila and has been talking about her (ie saying her name) since we arrived back from SA. Suffice to say she had a ball with her , refusing to sleep the entire day.
Oh and here's the outside of our house we are moving into next week. note to fellow bloggers who are moving house. post picture.
Its the grey looking one with the blue door in the middle. Victorian I am told.
So now all I need is all the furniture and a vacuum cleaner, ironing board and the likes and we are good to go. As I type this I am supposed to be looking for vacuum cleaners online that will not cost me a fortune , but I wont and then lily will wake from her nap and another day will go by vacuumless.
one last thing. I have this light lilac bag closed by a lovely looking sticker. Inside is an item wrapped in black tissue paper and secured by another lovely sticker. Inside this tissue paper lies a fabulous faux fur wrap for my wedding day... did I mention I was getting married...

Glad to hear you are having sunny weather again and can enjoy your picnics in the park. The parks are so beautiful in London. I miss the flowers as we don't have many here.
Your house looks lovely, can't wait to see more pics.
Also, so exciting about the wedding, and being in SA for when Sarah is born too.
It has stayed nice all week so far, so we have been to the park a few times. I just love the feeling of the warm air on my skin, and not jumpers and down jackets!
Yeah they do seem big with Arts and Crafts here, compared to the UK. Although some of my friends have gotten into scrapbooking there now too. Shame we weren't all into it when I lived there, it would have been fun. Who knew hey!
I can't believe how much Lily is growing up and all the things she is saying. Bayden is starting to come out with some words now too, randomly, and gets things for us. It is amazing when they suddenly start to follow instructions!
I love the Georgian and Victorian buildings. I'm really happy for you guys and as mentioned before, if you need any help with the move, just let me know? We bought a Vax vacuum cleaner for under £100 on Amazon.co.uk and it's been great thus far... Glad you found the wrap you were looking for for your wedding :) Hugs, xx
I want to seeeee it!!!! It sounds divine!
Glad you are feeling a happier now that you have some light on the subject over there. Can't wait to see more pics of the house - I promise that the next time I visit the site I will take pics of mine. Promise promise..
xx
Sounds like you are keeping yourself very busy darling. The weather looks great and I am sure you are glad of a bit of sunshine it cheers one up no end. Leila looks like she is having fun. Lily has so many friends visiting now and she knows all their names the clever little poppet. Love you all Mum xxxxxx
Whoo-hoo, the wedding is just around the corner now. But first the big move. I hope it all goes well, I'm sure you'll be settled in within no time at all. The house looks gorgeous and I can't wait to see some 'inside' photos soon too. May it bring you lots of love and good luck!!
Love, Sue xxx
