its almost upon us. Love or hate royalty , if you live here you cant escape the air of excitement and patriotism at the upcoming royal wedding. People all over the country are having royal wedding tea parties , street parties and braais. everyone I speak to has a plan on that holiday Friday.
Lily has a little royal wedding party on the 28th April. they are having food , dressing as princes and princesses and having entertainment.
We think we want to go into London to watch in Trafalgar square and try and see the carriage.. but a garden party is nice too.
Luckily for my family I am totally excited by the whole thing. i feel like I'm living VE day..
hence the teatowel. the first memento of many I can assure you
HUZZAH to weddings

It is going to be a wonderful event I am sure. I am going to organise something from here too. Carol and Carol, Jen I hope and anyone else who wishes to join. Tea and champagne, petit fours and anything else that sounds royal and grand!! xx
Enjoy it all!
;o)
I still think our tea towels are better *tweaks your nose* :D
I am so jealous!! Would love to be there. I have taken next Friday off (and managed to get the rest of the week off too) so that I can sit on the couch and watch the procedings. Jake's school is closed for the week too and my mom has the afternoon off work too. I was hoping to get some pretty tea cups, but can't find any of the royal ones locally. Mind you, I did find them online at 52 pounds each, so probably wouldn't buy them anyway.
Hope you enjoy every moment. Take lots of photos and please share the day with us!
