this is what inspires me

Caroline told us her inspirations and thereby inspired me to share mine

plants and flowers and gardening inspires me. In the past few years I have become so excited by gardening. I cant quite believe it myself. Today I had a strange feeling about me. I was nervous and sad all in one. I decided to go out and pull out some dead plants in my garden and just tidy it up ready for my spring planting plan. the more I worked and dug and saw some bulbs coming through the better I felt. gardening earths me and it makes me feel grounded and happy. planting and watching things grow gives me great inspiration .

creative artistic working with my hands inspires me. whether its sculpting , sewing , drawing , beading or scrapbooking. I like creating objects of beauty.

architecture and buildings . When I walk down the southbank in London I love the skyline. I love the gerkin blending into st Paul's cathedral. I love the building my husband works in in Greenwich . its the old naval college. its quite inspirational. and don't even get me started on Paris.

the people in my life inspire me every day. My mum inspires me by lifting my spirits on a weekly basis at the moment. she must feel like its a full time job but she still does it because she my mum . she inspires me to be a brilliant mum like her. My husband inspires me with his absolute dedication to his interests and hobbies and his natural parenting ability is quite astounding. I have friends and family that bring out the best in me.

my daughter . I want to be the best mum to her. I want to make the right choices for her. her kind sweet nature is an inspiration to me. I am loving watching her grow up

people with something about them inspire me. I like people with quirks and interests. I like a sense of style. I like it when people love things. when they are passionate about things. Don't be wishy washy I don't love anything blah blah.

food. beautiful , sumptuous food. lovely crisp wine , sparkling prosecco, decadent desserts . what on earth could be more inspirational than that?

Such lovely things to think about - and so nice to read positivity. I think I'm going to take a leaf out of your book and think about the things that inspire me... But I must say this - I want to garden, I love the idea of gardening, I appreciate the work that goes into gardening, but I kill everything!! From the smallest house plant to the sunflower Ben germinated at creche last year that was eaten by a multitude of insects. I can't tell you the guilt I still feel at having let that sunflower pass!! It's also the one area that no matter how much I read up on it, I still feel like I know nothing.

Thank you my darling for thinking of me as inspiring. You inspire me with your creativity and your calm and loving nature. I am glad you love to garden, I know one day when you have your own home you will have a really beautiful garden as you so have green fingers. You have been so selfless in the last 12 years, your time will come. Just hang in there and you will see you will get to do lots of wonderful things. Love you so much. Mum xxx

This was a lovely post which I enjoyed reading...
On the top of my list, I'd say LoVe and OpTiMiSm inspire me... (although I was recently told that an optimist is an inexperienced pessimist ~:( ...
