just for kids

If you don't have children or never have to entertain children then look away now as this won't interest you.
Colouring in. what child does not like to colour? Mine is colouring mad and can get through a colouring book in next to no time as at 3 attention to detail is not so important to her. I did however see a picture my lovely little god daughter , Sarah was colouring the other day and was so proud of all that colouring in the lines I saw! (you see we don't only gush abut our own children ,but our friends too)
So if your little one watches cbeebies they will be familiar with the characters and would love to colour them in. go to the cbeebies website and click on colouring and you will find loads of pages you can print out for them to colour.

books. so I have more books to recommend for children. I have recently discovered Emily Gravett. I think I like the books more than lily though. The illustrations are so beautiful. We have meerkat mail at the moment and its lovely.
The wild things. Its just been made into a film but the book is much loved. Its got great illustrations and Lily is strangely amazed by "the wild things". helped by the fact that her daddy got an app for her where she can play with the character on screen Carol is her favorite. And Isla she tells me tonight.
I am still a huge winnie the witch fan. cant get enough of those books.

Micro scooters. I am saving for one of these for lily. They are small, lightweight and fold up. I see kids of 18 months scootering all over on these things. they are great for school runs or trips to the park or just in your back yard. great for coordination and ..well..fun!

hope those few thumbs up will help.

Hi -
I've never been very good at following directions, so I kept reading!

Back when I was tutoring, I found that Googling something like "download coloring pages" would lead me to lots of free resources. You have to separate the wheat from the chaff, but it's always worth giving it a whirl!
;o)

hmmm dunno where you saw that picture but believe me Sarah has no concept of drawing in the lines, though she does absolutely love 'drawing' and 'colouring' - I'm definitely going to print up some of those xx
