Now we are 1

Now that Lily is one things have changed for her and I. My little tiny baby is not such a baby anymore. Her little personality is developing and we are seeing more and more of it every day.

Now we are 1

I love to kiss and hug people. I love to give loves and pat peoples hair and heads. sorry aunty Ronnie but its one of the few kissey photos i have so i needed to put it up

I can crawl really , really fast but even better i can take steps. In fact today I did 7 in a row and I am walking around hanging onto everything
I can also ride on my new trike that I got from my mummy and daddy for my birthday. I hold onto the handles and they push me around. I love it
I now eat most things and love my food. Today we went to a greek cafe and I had 7 black olives. Everyone could not believe it!!!
I am getting very good at making people laugh as well. I do funny things like showing my teeth off or pulling a funny face and everyone laughs and i laugh with them. I am so happy all the time
I am really enjoying reading my books even more now and point to them so I can have my bedtime story. I also watch " in the night garden" on tv. I really love it but I think mummy and daddy love it more. they just sit there mesmarised telling me about Iggle piggle, upsy daisy , macca pacca and the tombly boos. My daddys favorite is the train called the ninky nonk. they took me to hamleys on Friday to see the window
I can babble and laugh and say some words like mama , dada and baba but most amazingly to my mummy I understand everything . I am so active now and I can sit and stand on everything , be it dangerous or not, heres me the other day sitting on my shape sorter box. how clever
So far I love being one. I wonder what this year will bring.

Such beautiful photos! Looks like Lily's loving life and keeping you all busy. Enjoy the next couple of months - the next stage is the terrible twos; then the trying threes and the F&%*ing fours... It's all fun though and the bad moments pass so quickly. Glad Lily's doing so well. Hope that you're feeling better now too, post-holiday blues are a bugger! Thinking of you!

Lots of love xxx

Hi wendy
Lily is soo cute!!!!!!!
Can't wait to see you guys either.
We love In the night garden too. Dylan goes absolutely mad, running jumping on the sofas, falling on the floor like Iggle Piggle nad screaming and squealling with delight. He knows all the dances and Upsy Daisy is his girlfriend who he kisses like mad everytime she is on telly. Our Tv is full of sticky fingers and kisses. What a nutter.

Oh Wendy, she's gorgeous, but you know that - And I'm with you on the "In the Night Garden" thing - Ben is absolutely sold on it. Ickle Pickle is always "naughty ickle pickle" and he just loves Macka Packa! And you're right, it's not as painful to watch as an adult either - some of the things they have on are just dire, "Wonder Pets" tops my hate list :) Hope you are well... Kerrith
