a lovely twitter follower who I chat with sent me a private message which said that she had just seen my photo and she thought I was beautiful.
My first reaction was horror and embarrassment, but quickly that turned to a lovely happy feeling. For once I took the compliment and I needed it that day.
I have decided if I can compliment anyone, I will. You never know how you can lift someones spirit

How true, Wendy. And don't forget, others don't see us as we see ourselves - we know all our faults and seem to concentrate only on those.

I chose it because you looked so lovely, relaxed and happy. I flip through that folder whenever I want to take a deep breath and focus on all the kind, well intentioned and funny people in my life.
