I have changed my look again ( by myself!!!) I am always restless in January. The January blues, they hit me hard. Christmas is always such an exciting time and then its all over and all the glitter and sparkle fades. For the last few years I have found Christmas to be a double edged sword as I have this gorgeous little daughter to share all the excitement with but I am yet to share this Christmas time with a child with my own family, my mum and dad and brother and my friends that are my family.
This is why this year I am filled with a determination as this Christmas I am going home. I have worked and worked over this festive period to earn enough money for our airfares . Its quite exciting to know that next Christmas I will be home. This does leave 11 months though where I must resist the urge to buy tickets with my saved money. This is a very long time.
Tomorrow sees me going on my health kick again. I have my appetite back after my numerous illnesses so it has to be the healthy stuff now with a bit of naughty in between.
I am excited to see what the year brings,I have so many hopes and dreams that I want fulfilled. I don't really make resolutions but I think its natural when one year ends and another begins to feel the need to reflect and hope for changes or growth within your life. I am having a proactive year this year which I hope helps to settle my soul a little.
I am also so looking forward to sharing in others hopes and dreams in 2009. Last year our blogging community had quite a year of ups and downs and I am sure this year will be the same. How wonderful that we all share in each others joy and pain. We are a support network for each other.

Yes, January is a strange month - everything feels a little flat and one tends to get all introspective and make all kinds of goals and resolutions. For me, it always feels like the year only really begins in February.
