I have decided to start doing this blogging lark as we are so far away from Lily,s family and friends and I thought it would be a great way for everyone to keep up with her progress.
Lily is 3 weeks today. She is currently sleeping peacefully. you can just look at her forever!
Since she was born life has been a rollercoaster. I heard an ad on tv the other day that said when a baby is born so is a mother and never a truer word was written. Just as Lily is adjusting to life outside of her mummy so I am adjusting to motherhood and her daddy to fatherhood. We are becoming better at judging what is wrong when she cries and on the whole she has been a model baby. he feeds every 3 - 4 hours but is not so good at going to sleep at times. She loves to be held and cuddled so if thats what she needs I do it. She is good at night most of the times as well.
I never thought my life would be so full of worrying about if she has pooed or brought up wind. I have come to the conclusion that this is the main reason that babies cry. I hate wind and want to bnish it from my vocabulary.
every day Lily bacomes more social and at times you can just eat her up. Kristian is back to work tomorrow and my mum back to Cape town in Tuesday so it will be quite a week for us. I will keep you updated
